Meet at the far end of the Devilbend Natural Features Reserve car park off Graydens Road (Melway map 152 J 3). After a short time birding here we will cram into as few cars as possible and drive to Woods Bushland Reserve at the end of Woodlands Road as parking is severely limited. We will return to the original car park for morning tea. From there we will drive to Bittern Reservoir off Hodgins Road, approx. 2km from intersection with Derril Rd (Melway map 153 B 9). For drivers coming from Melbourne, turn off the Peninsula Link Freeway or Moorooduc Highway at Old Moorooduc Rd in the direction of Tuerong and then approx. 250m, turn left into Tuerong Road. Drive to T-junction with Derril Road, turn right and then left onto Graydens Road. The walk will traverse remnant woodland, old open pasture and the reservoirs. Bring morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and chair. Only toilet facilities are at the Devilbend Natural Features Reserve.
