Membership of BirdLife Bayside is free.

Meetings are $5 per person, or you can pay $25 for the calendar year ($40 for families). The fee covers our hire of the meeting venue, prizes and a light supper.

Our membership is not limited to residents of suburbs in the City of Bayside, such as Sandringham, Beaumaris, Black Rock, Brighton, Cheltenham, Hampton, and Highett. We also welcome members from further afield. Existing members also come from places such as Mentone, Bentleigh, McKinnon, Clayton, Moorabbin, Mordialloc, Frankston, Mt Eliza.

Our monthly outings also roam far and wide, with over 70 locations explored. We visit places in and near Bayside, such as Ricketts Point and Karkarook Park, as well as further afield such as Heatherton Road Wetlands, Point Cook, Point Nepean, Phillip Island, Westgate Park, You Yangs Regional Park. We record all bird species identified during our outings, and those bird records are available for searching on this web site.
